The Stamford Bulldogs and Winters Blizzards meeting in the Regional Final. Stamford taking game one Friday.

Back to McMurry for game two. Stamford only needing one win to head to Austin.

To the top of the 2nd. Stamford's Blake Barnett with the dribbler down the third base line. The throw to first is a little off point, and  that will score Kyle Khenstler to make it 3-0 Bulldogs.

Then Jessie Ramos with the shot to Riley Ripley. This one getting away as well. Stamford up 4-0.

Winters regroups and get out of the inning as Haden Nitsch gets the routine out at first.

But it wouldn't get any easier for the blizzards today, struggling to get a run on the board.

Into the 7th. Bulldogs with a 9-0 lead. Jessie Ramos hits this one back to Nitsch. The throw home is over Kolten Anderson's head. More runs will score  as the Bulldogs shut out the Blizzards.

They grab a 12-0 win to advance to Austin for the third time.

" We got hits at the right time, we took advantage of some of the mistakes they made, a total team effort." says Head Coach Lannie Templeton.

"I knew all I had to do is come out here and give my team a chance and do what I could. I knew they were there to back me up the whole time, and all I had to do is give us a chance to get to Austin again." adds Gus West.

"We kind of set the bar in Winters for Baseball," adds Winters Head Coach James Spivey, "You know it didnt go our way, credit to Stamford, I mean they put the pressure on us, and they are a great ball club. You know we played a pretty good game yesterday, and we just kind of fell apart today, very uncharacteristic of us but I think the pressure got to us a little bit."
