New Sports Facility Opening Monday

A new sports training center is set to open its doors today in Abilene.

D1 Sport and Spine Training Center is opening inside the old Circuit City building by the Mall of Abilene, and will offer sports therapy and personal training services.
   
The facility is not just for high school and college athletes though, it's for anyone who wants to get in shape.

"It sounds like it's just for elite athletes but it's not. It's for everybody. Don't hesitate to come by, it's not just for the athlete it's for anybody who wants to become better," says D1's David Hess.

D1 plans to host their grand opening event June 14-15.
