Snyder Chamber of Commerce officials are expecting a huge turnout for this year's West Texas Western Swing Festival, which begins Tuesday with the annual "Welcome Home Burgers and Beans" dinner.

Melissa Elam, the chamber's executive director, said she expects an attendance comparable to a year ago.

"We think we will see a lot of newcomers this year," she said, adding that a lineup which includes a Grammy winner will help attendance.

Also on Tuesday, a jam session will be held and among the acts scheduled to perform will be The Country Boys from Snyder.

The festival will begin at noon Wednesday and run through Sunday with an afternoon and evening session scheduled each day. Vendors will also be on hand to sell western apparel and other items.

Tickets are $20 each with children 12 and under admitted free.

The line-up for Wednesday will include Brady Bowen, Leon Rausch and Curtis Potter.
