You know the sound... Those two notes that still send chills down your spine any time you step in the water. This weekend, ignite your fear and sink your JAWS into the classic film all over again thanks to the Historic Paramount Theatre in Downtown Abilene.

"Believe it or not, 37 years later it's still a classic film," explains Betty Hukill, Executive Director at the Historic Paramount, "so it's time to show it!"

JAWS was first released in 1975, under the direction of Steven Spielberg. The film is rated PG.

"It's the beginning of Summer, we all have our minds on the water," says Hukill.

For anyone who hasn't seen the film, Hukill says they can expect a truly thrilling ride.

"That wonderful, scary, thrilling time to watch this scary movie about seeing a shark, a really big great white shark," she explains.

The fun starts Friday night and continues all day Saturday. For a full list of showtimes Click Here.
