A New Bakery In Town Makes Heavenly Cakes

When it comes to bakeries the Key City is full of unique and creative people who know how to satisfy even the pickiest of sweet tooth's. We're introducing you to one of the newest bakeries in Abilene, Heavenly Cakes.
Owner Anita Leathers says, "We'll I've always enjoyed baking and making cakes and then last year I had surgery and after I had my surgery I was in bed for a couple of weeks and got to watch a bunch of cake shows and decided I wanted to open a bakery."
When it comes to orders rolling in, Leathers says, "For the last three months they have really taken off well. I've been pretty steady and people will come in and order or call and order or leave a message on my Facebook."
