Updated: June 9, 2012
A local non-profit invited the city into it's warehouse for a day of shopping. Eternal threads, which sells products from all over the world to help woman and children with money for food and education, opened it's doors to help involve Abilene in the non-profit's cause.

"Open houses are great. It really brings the community in. And we love Abilene, and we've always been in Abilene and that's really something that's important to us to have community with, here in Abilene," said Red Thread Intern Breahna Jordan.

The open houses at Eternal Threads are every second Saturday of each month.
