The two-day clinic extends beyond the court. There's video instruction and life lessons from Baker. He's also the director of the Nike Skills Academies for NBA players like LeBron James and Amare Stoudemire. The clinic also gives the players an idea of what it takes to be great.

"They're coachable and they're approachable. They buy in and they listen and they get better. That's kind of what holds these kids responsible. If it's good enough for LeBron or Amare then it's good enough for them," Baker says.

"I just want to give them a dose of reality of what it really means to work at the game of basketball. But more importantly what it means to be successful in life. Everything that's mediocre or average in their life I want to get them to think and start to act in excellence," Baker adds.
