Surveillance video has helped lead to the arrest of three suspects in connection to Monday's armed robbery at ACU.

With the cooperation of ACUPD, Abilene police arrested 18-year-old Devin Tate, 22-year-old Joshua Jimenez and 17-year-old Anthony Rocha after surveillance video from the ACU parking lot helped identify the suspects' vehicle, a maroon four-door compact car.

Police spotted the suspect vehicle outside a pawn shop around 6:00 Monday evening and initiated surveillance on the maroon car.

The vehicle was pulled over a short time later, and the suspects were taken to the law enforcement center where they were interviewed by investigators from ACUPD and the Abilene Police Department.

According to police, the investigation revealed that all three suspects were involved in multiple offenses, including multiple car burglaries and several aggravated robberies, including a robbery at Hendrick Medical Center.

Officials seized the suspect vehicle as evidence, and recovered stolen property and two guns allegedly used in the robberies.

All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Taylor County Jail and charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Bond has been set at $100,000 each.
