Tom Washburn is pastor at the church, "We are ready to try to take this, and I think the saying is taking lemons and making lemonade. I think we are looking to see what the blessing is", says Washburn.
Even though parts of the buildings are destroyed, and even missing, the church community is coming together in efforts to get back to normal.
But from leaky roofs to soaked carpets, the church has no doubt experienced a significant amount of damage. "Less than 24 hours after our last service, we decided to have a sky roof", jokes Washburn.
Washburn tells us he expects it will take several months before the church buildings are in working order again. But until then, they are using this tragic event as a positive opportunity for the congregation to work together.
The church tells us they have no set plans as to where they will meet. However, they will be hosting a special prayer service tomorrow night.
