DCOA Helping Abilene Regional Airport Attract Second Airline

By: Stetson
Updated: June 12, 2012
The Development Corporation of Abilene will help the Abilene Regional Airport attract a second airline.

The DCOA approved putting existing funds it  gives the airport into an airline travel bank.

The account would also take in money from passengers and businesses who spend money using the airport.

The funds will subsidize new air service, possibly to Denver,  if another airline decides to come to Abilene.
