Builders will soon begin working a new training facility at Dyess Air Force Base.

Dyess airmen gathered this morning for the groundbreaking ceremony for the new C-130j model cargo plane training building. Dyess is getting dozens of the new larger cargo planes.

The new building will house the simulator to help the new flight crews practice before they get in the actual cockpits.

The ceremony also honored the history of the C-130 mission at Dyess.
