UPDATE: Girl Remains in Critical Condition Following Motorcycle Accident

Friday a.m. Update:
Officials at Hendrick Medical Center report that 19-year-old Tristyn Spencer remains in critical condition Friday morning following Thursday's motorcycle accident.

The driver of the motorcycle, 42-year-old John Scott is in good condition.

Thursday 3 p.m. Update:


Tristyn Spencer is in critical condition at Hendrick Medical Center.

John Scott is in fair condition.

Original Story:
Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that happened in the 3800 block of Ambler at 12:45 Thursday morning.

Officers arrived to find the motorcycle on its side in the gutter. 
   
Emergency crews had to revive one person lying several yards away from the bike, and a second person was found nearby. 
   
The motorcycle struck the south curb of Ambler Avenue at Westwood Drive, and that neither person was wearing a helmet, according to police.

Police say 42-year-old John Scott was driving, and 19-year-old Tristyn Spencer, both of Abilene, were taken to Hendrick Medical Center where they are in stable condition at the time of the report.

The crash is still under investigation.
