This Friday, we're shining the Spotlight on Brandi Fought, an Eastland Mother and Wife reaching out to help special needs families.

Brandi was nominated by the KTAB team, to help raise awareness for a project Brandi and her husband started in Eastland County. The couple started a small summer group called NoLimitz, which offers free swim nights at the Eastland Pool.

The Swim Nights are for children, adults, caregivers, and families affected by special needs. There is no cost for admission. Drinks and snacks are also provided. The first of these swim nights will be held Wednesday, June 20th.

Last year, Brandi says almost 90 people showed up to join the fun, and she hopes that number will increase this summer.

"We are hoping we can get the word out about this resource for families," she explains. "Eventually we would like to be able to offer training, resources, night outs, and the like to all those affected by special needs."

From all of us at KTAB, Brandi we would like to thank you for being an outstanding member of the Big Country!
