Midland Man Arrested in Abilene for Online Solicitation, Sending Graphic Images to Minor

Taylor County Sheriff's Officers arrested a Midland man on disturbing felony charges.

Gregg Gardner, 48, of Midland was arrested on charges of online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14 and for sale, distribution or display of harmful images to a minor.

The Sheriff's Department reports that Gardner admitted to officers that he sent graphic sexual images to the victim via text message, a third-degree felony.

Solicitation of a minor is a second-degree felony.

Gardner was arrested in north Abilene Thursday just before midnight, and is now in Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $100,000.
