A man was struck by a train early this morning in Baird. Police responded to a call around 5:30 this morning, and found the body of a 34 year old man near the 186 mile marker.
Police said they are unsure if the man was out walking when he was hit, of if he was already dead before being struck. Police are still investigating, and an autopsy will be performed.
