Bridge Maintenance Begins in Scurry, Fisher Counties

Work began today on preventative maintenance on several bridges in Scurry and Fisher counties.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials recently announced that M&S Concrete Company in Levelland was awarded the $463,775 project.

Weather permitting, the project will take approximately 109 days to complete.

The bridge structures will receive concrete structure repair on the decks and overhangs.

In Scurry County, the bridges are located at Hwy. 350 (road marker 356), FM 1298 (road marker 284) and FM 1606 (road marker 342). In Fisher County, the bridges are located at U.S. 180 (road marker 376), Texas Hwy. 92 (road marker 390), U.S. 180 (road marker 392) and Texas Hwy. 70 (road marker 308).

The chief inspector for TxDOT is Bradley Pylant and Mickey Michaels is the project superintendent for M&S Concrete.
