Investigation Continues into Accident that Killed Pedestrian

The investigation continues into the death of a pedestrian on South First Street in Abilene.

Mary Bowdon, 54, was hit by a minivan late Friday night as she crossed South First Street and Portland Avenue.
 
Bowdon was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
   
Police say the elderly couple in the minivan that hit Bowdon were not impaired.
