Police Investigating Reported Beating at Kirby Lake

A man fishing at Kirby Lake early Sunday morning was reportedly beaten by a group of people who fished with him for several hours.

A police report says the 27-year-old was fishing when three people asked to join him.
   
The victim told police they sat with him for several hours, then beat him unconscious.
   
He was taken to the hospital with cuts and bruises.
   
The suspects are described as two men and a woman. One of the men was described as a white male standing 5 feet 11 inches and weighing approximately 220 pounds, and the other was also white, and stood 5 feet 8 inches and weighed around 145 pounds.

There was no detailed description of the female.
   
Police say the case is pending action once the victim comes forward and presses charges.
