Last night at about 10:40, Officer Jeremy Holmes was dispatched to a disturbance in progress call at a residence in the 4300 block of Caldwell Road. This was the third disturbance at the residence. During his investigation, Officer Holmes learned that both involved parties were in a dating relationship and both were intoxicated. His investigation revealed that the girlfriend was the aggressor in an alleged domestic violence incident. The female subject was arrested for assault family violence. The boyfriend chose not to press charges at the time of the arrest.
Early this morning at about 12:20, Officers Damien Hutchinson and Jerame Montgomery were dispatched to a burglary in progress call at a residence in the 900 block of North Bowie Street. APD Dispatch received notification from a resident that they heard a loud noise and upon looking outside saw an unknown subject running from the residence. They discovered one of their windows broken near the window latch and provided limited descriptors of the fleeing subject. The subject was last seen running southbound according to the resident. As officers converged on the area, Officer Hutchinson contacted a male subject in the 4700 block of State Street. His investigation revealed that the subject had an outstanding warrant for first-degree felony aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The warrant, originating from Harris County, was confirmed and the subject was arrested. Officer Montgomery completed an incident report for the damage sustained at the residence. There was not enough evidence to tie the male subject to this criminal mischief incident.
