A cold front trying to slide across the Big Country from the north is responsible for developing showers and storms this afternoon. The chances for rain will continue on into tonight as the front lingers in the area. I am not expecting severe storms though with this activity.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a slight shower and storm chance. Lows near 70.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs near 96.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs near 98.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and highs near 99.
