"I wasn't expecting that. And when they called me that, we were in San Angelo when they called me, that the restaurant had burned down, I thought it was just a little fire," said Henry Hogeda, owner of Don Enriques.

It took Hogeda by surprised. When the restaurant owner saw the damage done to his restaurant, he was shocked.

"I came in and i saw everything was just, you know, it was just not a good feeling," he said.

But now, Don Enrique's will be open for business again, after it burned down Thanksgiving of 2010.

"It was all burned down. We had to clean it up and remodel," said Hogeda. "So it took a lot of cleaning  and putting together."

Pictures of the fire are placed around the restaurant, reminding diners and workers what happened, and how the restaurant has rebuilt, and the changes made along the way.

"We did a few changes like the bar, we made the bar a little bigger. We put some windows there that we didn't have before. And we kind of mixed up the colors a little bit," Hogeda explained.

Henry said he is just ready to get Don Enrique's up and running again, as the business he's owned for a while, seems brand new again.

"Just being open. Hoping that everything turned out great. And as far as getting excited, i'm excited. It's like coming to a new business even though we had it before. But it's kind of like a new business and you know we are excited.

Don Enrique's will officially be open to the public again this Tuesday.

Love Enrique's! Are we sure Enrique's is opened? No one is answering the phones. I can't get a consistant phone number and not one that works.
