By: Rangers Communications
Updated: June 24, 2012
Arlington, TX--With their 22nd sellout of the season tonight, the Texas Rangers established a new club record for home sellouts in a season. The previous record was 21 in the team's first season at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington in 1994. The club has sold out five of its last six games in Arlington.

With tonight's crowd of 45,407, the Rangers total home attendance is 1,532,530 in 35 dates. It marks the earliest number of dates in which the Rangers have ever reached the 1.5 million mark in home attendance with the previous mark being in the 39th home date in 1994.

"On behalf of the entire Rangers organization, I want to thank our tremendous fans for their support this season," commented Rangers CEO and President Nolan Ryan. "Playing to capacity crowds every night is a real home field advantage for the club, and this fan response is greatly appreciated."

The Rangers continue this homestand with 7:05 p.m. games against the Detroit Tigers on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Here is the ticket availability for the Detroit series:
Monday: 8,700
Tuesday: 7,300
Wednesday: 6,600
