By: Snyder Daily News
Updated: June 25, 2012
A late hotel occupancy tax fund request will be heard by members of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce board Monday night.

The Cogdell Memorial Hospital Foundation will request funds to help support the inaugural Cajunfest, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at The Coliseum.

The Foundation board did not specify an amount.

Prior to discussing the request, board members are scheduled to clarify late funding applications.

No formal action has been taken by the board if requests were received late.

Also, Ricky Bowman is scheduled to present the annual audit and tax return information to the board.

Reports covering finances, the Gold Coats, standing committees and from board president Tim McCullar are scheduled as well as an update from Melissa Elam, executive director.

The board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the chamber boardroom.
