Eastland, Lake Leon 4th of July Activities Set

EASTLAND - An Old-Fashion 4th of July on the Square in downtown Eastland.  Kid's Parade, hot dogs, ice cream, pie/cobbler, patriotic music, games, booths, contests!  Booths and games open 9:00 a.m., Parade starts at 10:00 a.m., Ice cream judging at noon, pie/cobbler judging 1 p.m.  Presentation of Awards at 2:30 p.m.

LAKE LEON - Fireworks at La Mancha Lake Resort 402 County Road 567, Eastland, TX.  Open to the public, Free Admission.  Fireworks begin after dark.  

MINERAL WELLS - Center of Life and PRAY Mineral Wells teams up for July 4th event at Ram Stadium. While the Chicken Express will continue to sponsor the fireworks, Center of Life and PRAY Mineral Wells work together to bring fun to the hours preceding the fireworks display.

Though spectators will not be permitted in the stands until 8:00 pm, there will be plenty to do. From 5:00-8:00pm there will be free live music, bounce houses and several booths to visit including the Police Department, Fire/EMS, various community resources and more. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and plenty of water to drink.

Anyone interested in reserving a booth must do so in advance by contacting Ray Mays at 940-682-1753.
