Jewelry Sale Helping Hendrick Medical Reach Pledge

By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: June 27, 2012
A $5 jewelry sale is helping the Hendrick Medical auxiliary get to their $1 million pledge.

The fundraiser, which started Wednesday, is helping the auxiliary raise the million dollars they pledged to help fund Project 2010, the newly finished project at Hendrick.

So far, they are halfway to their goal, and all the community support is helping those at Hendrick help the community.

"We serve the community. We're here to serve the community and help everybody that we can. And it's nice to be able to take in more patients and give them the utmost care," says retail specialist Erin Spradlin.

The sale is open to the public and lasts until Friday evening at the Shelton Building.
