Take a step into Dan Cochran's small shop in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Clyde and you take a step back in time
Not only as you watch him work but as you listen to him talk.
It's with this knowledge that he makes his living making art from metal
His latest moneymaker are made from discarded railroad ties.
Cochran says this kind of work is a dying art and the tools he works with have been used for years and sometime centuries.
He says only a handful of blacksmiths still work this way
And Clyde is proud to have him right here to call their own.
Dan's work can be found at Happy Trails right here in Clyde....
