Armed Robber Absconds with Cash from Convenience Store

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed an Abilene convenience store at gunpoint.

Just before 5:00 Thursday morning, police responded to an armed robbery call at Allsup's on the 2500 block of South Clack Street.

According to reports, a man entered the store with a gun and then demanded money from the clerk before fleeing.

The man got away with an unknown amount of money.

There are no known suspects at this time.
