"Went out to put my sandwich and my lunch in there for the day's work and sometime between 12:30 and 5:30 they stuck a knife and it takes some power to stick a knife inside of a tire," says Kenneth Feebster.
Feebster is not the only Taylor County victim.
Darrell Gomez explains, "The passenger window on my truck was busted out and the back window on my wife's truck was busted out."
The Gomez family went through this not once, but twice.
"Then Monday morning our tires were slashed," Gomez continues.
All four of them in fact; costing more than just a pretty penny.
"Understand that whenever they do vandalize it, they're taking food from people's mouths, putting them in financial binds and the burden is far more than some people can bare," says Gomez.
Each morning Feebster wakes up, he is reminded of how much this crime is setting him back.
"Well it shut me down from working. I lost work and then my labor, buying parts for it. That's money we needed for medicine," says Feebster.
Being that he is diabetic and his wife has emphysema, they're going to have to come up with another way to get this week's medicine.
He says, "I'm just going to have to make it up as time goes by."
Until these vandals are caught, these victims say they will be on high alert to make sure this does not happen again.
"I've been staying up late at night to see if there's been police patrols coming through here and I haven't seen nothing," says Gomez.
"I leave my door cracked and I sit there in that chair waiting on them, in the dark, hoping they'll come back. I hope they come back, I really do," says Feebster.
