Updated: July 2, 2012
Construction is moving along on a parking lot and informational kiosk at the Fort Phantom Hill State Historical Site.

The project includes adding a concrete driveway and parking lot, a covered information kiosk, restroom facilities and other improvements.

Visitors can still visit the site during construction.

The project is being funded by the Texas Department of Transportation and the Fort Phantom Foundation.

They hope to have it finished by mid-summer.
