Texans who are eligible to vote, but not yet registered are almost out of time to register to vote in the July 31, 2012 Primary Runoff Elections.

Voter registration applications must be postmarked no later than today, Monday, July 2, 2012.

Information on how to register to vote in Texas can be found at www.votetexas.gov, or by calling the voter registrar in a voter's county of residence.

Voters who cast ballots in one of the major party primary elections on May 29, 2012 will vote in the runoff election for the same party in which they cast their primary ballot. Voters who did not cast a ballot in primary elections are free to choose either party's runoff ballot, but may only vote in one party's runoff election.

Early voting for the July 31 Primary Runoff Elections will begin Monday, July 23 and end Friday, July 27.
