Parents ask yourself, just how educational are the toys your children
play with? Chances are even you might not realize the benefits your kids
get with certain toys. Kristen Patterson from Discovery Toys gave us
the inside scoop on some of the summers newest toys.
"This is a toy store. It's a mobile toy store, like you said, I run it out of my home. Discovery Toys is a home based business like Mary Kay or Avon. I got started because like you I grew up with a bunch of these toys and I saw somebody at a convention and I started looking through the catalog and I was like well I'm pregnant and I pretty much want everything in the catalog so I decided why not be a consultant and get them at a discounted rate and even help other families.", explains Patterson.
She adds, " I helps them get ready for school because kids learn by playing. They are learning about speeds and how things work and they are figuring out different parts to different things. So it is really engaging on a cognitive level."
