The next few days look good and all events on the 4th of July should be just fine with regards to the weather across the Big Country.

Of interest next week- a potential rainstorm - maker as an upper level area of low pressure could develop over the Gulf of Mexico and track west into south Texas and bring us a shot at... storms Monday and Tuesday... Stay tuned as it's still a little too early to tell for sure.

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast in detail:

Tonight: Becoming clear and staying pleasant with lows near 73.

Tomorrow, the 4th off July: Mainly sunny, dry, and breezy. Highs near 95. The evening looks mostly clear with temperature sin the 80s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and highs near 96.

Friday: Mostly sunny and highs near 98.

Saturday: Partly cloudy and highs near 98.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and a slim rain chance (10%). Highs near 97.
