Hello everyone! Quiet weather is expected for your Friday evening across the Big Country. Weekend temperatures will remain on the scorching hot side with highs in the upper 90s on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Rain chances though will begin to develop across the area late this weekend and last into next week. A little relief from the heat is also expected for us next week with highs back near more seasonable levels as a cool front slides through the area. This cool front will also help to work with available moisture to develop our rain chances as well to start the week.

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Becoming partly cloudy and pleasant. Lows near 72.

Saturday: Partly cloudy and hot. A 10% coverage of rainstorms is possible. Highs near 98.

Sunday: Partly sunny and a 20% coverage of showers and storms. Highs near 97.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a 30% coverage pf showers and storms. Highs near 92.
