Home School Conference and Fair Visits Abilene

By: Nora Hartfeil
Updated: July 7, 2012
There were fun events for kids and ideas for physical activities to do in the home as well. We spoke to one of the vendors at the event about why it was so important to the community.

"I think a lot of people have a perception about homeschoolers that they all stay home and they don't have any social skills because they don't interact with anybody, and I think you can look around here and see that that is completely not true", says Janet White, BCHE member.

Over 45 vendors were there, including military representatives and martial arts instructors.
