A routine traffic stop led to a large marijuana bust in Nolan County last week.

DPS Officers arrested 19-year-old Samuel Ojeda of Del Rio, Texas Thursday afternoon.

Ojeda was driving a 1999 Chrysler Sebring east bound on Interstate 20 in Nolan County when a Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Trooper stopped him for a traffic violation near mile marker 231.

A verbal consent to search the vehicle was given, and the Trooper located a small amount of cocaine and marijuana with a street value of about $20,000.
