Updated: July 10, 2012
The City of Snyder was again above its average daily water use restrictions last week.

Snyder, restricted to 1.8 million gallons per day (mgd) by the Colorado River Municipal Water District (CRMWD), averaged 2.27 mgd last week. On the peak day, Snyder used 3.06 million gallons.

Water levels at Lake J.B. Thomas remained unchanged from last week at 0.68 percent full with less than 1,400-acre feet of water.

The O.H. Ivie Reservoir fell under 15 percent full and lost nearly 1,000-acre feet of water.

The reservoir now stands at 14.75 percent full.

Odessa remained the largest consumer of the CRMWD, averaging 14.7 mgd. Midland (12.07 mgd) and San Angelo (11.07) are second and third, respectively.
