Ben Richey Boys Ranch to Build New Relief Cottage Near Albany

By: Adam Singleton
Updated: July 10, 2012
Ben Richey Boys Ranch will soon be able to house more young men at their Albany campus.

Tuesday a groundbreaking was held to commemorate the construction of a new relief cottage at the Ben Richey Boys Ranch location just south of Albany that will house up to six additional boys.

"Small communities need students and we're bringing them some really good students that are willing to work and be successful. So it's a win/win for us. It's a win for the Albany community and it's a win for the boys ranch and we just couldn't be happier," says Kerry Fortune of Ben Richey Boys Ranch

The new facility will also allow the Abilene location to make more room for their single mother housing program.
