Abilene City Marshal Tristen Parnell noticed a wanted suspect and started to apprehend her.
That's when Drew Litz, the driver of the vehicle, took off with the Marshall still hanging on to the passenger, 23 year old Heather Neal.
The Marshal was dragged for several feet then got back up.
He and other law enforcement went to see if they could find the vehicle and came across a wreck.
Katrina Clay was blindsided by the mustang on North 12th and Kirkwood.
The two were caught in an alley near by, and now Neal is facing additional charges on top of her parole violation charge.
The City Marshal was checked out and is uninjured.
The driver of the mini van says she's thankful her child was not in the vehicle.
Heather Neal is in jail on bonds totaling over $150,000 tonight.
She is charged with aggravated assault on a public servant, evading detention with a vehicle and possession of cocaine.
Drew Letz is in jail on bonds totaling $125,000. He is charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and evading detention with a vehicle.
