The 32-year-old actor says he's in the midst of working on a sequel to "Magic Mike," the film loosely based on his pre-Hollywood life as a male stripper.
During a recent Twitter question-and-answer session for Glamour magazine, Tatum was asked whether a Magic Mike" sequel was in the works.
"Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now," Tatum replied. "We want to flip the script and make it bigger."
It's unclear whether director Steven Soderbergh is on board, or if the potential follow-up will feature "Magic Mike" co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Cody Horn.
Tatum has a busy movie schedule over the next year. He stars in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "The Bitter Pill," both due out in 2013. He will next shoot "Foxcatcher," based on the life of Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz.
