Webcast: New Coffee Shop Coming to South Abilene

The city council approved the development of a new locally-owned drive-thru coffee shop in south Abilene.
The owners are calling the new spot "Big Country Coffee Company," and it will be on Buffalo Gap Road just north of Chimney Rock at the old Baack's Florist building.
There was some concern by residents in the area about noise and traffic, but the city's planning department has made sure eight cars can fit in the drive-thru without causing traffic problems on Buffalo Gap Road.
