Weekend Rundown: Shop 'til You Drop

If you've been searching for an excuse to shop, your prayers have been answered this weekend. But there's plenty for the rest of the family to enjoy over the next few days as well.

The Mall of Abilene kicked off their big summer sale yesterday. The great deals last until Sunday, July 15th. Nearly 20 different stores are participating in the mall wide sale.

Friday, July 13th
The "Big Country" is showing at the Historic Paramount Theatre Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $6 for adults.

Saturday, July 14th
The 13th annual Tour of the Peanut Country will begin with a bike ride at eight at Gorman City Park. Right after, running fans can join in the 5k run and walk.

The Historic Buffalo Gap Village will be holding their military appreciation day Sunday with free entry for all active and retired military members and their family.
