'Sweet H2O' is a benefit fund raiser street dance and concert that will take place in downtown Sweetwater. The event will feature 11 musicians/bands that are scheduled to appear Saturday, July 28, starting at 5 p.m.

The music will range from country to Texas music, blues, rock, folk and Americana. The beneficiary of this event is the Texas Theater in downtown Sweetwater.

The Texas Theater has undergone some major renovations and the most costly, (the heating and air conditioning) is still to come. The S.T.T.A.R. (Sweetwater Texas Theatre Acquisition & Renovation) is a non-profit organization, that is spearheading this event.

The City of Sweetwater has agreed to close Oak Street for the street dance and concert.
