When you help lead your team to the State Finals as a junior, your senior year comes with a lot more expectations...

"We are going to have to do a lot more things to improve to get back to where we were, but to get better and go beyond what we achieved last year." Says Senior Quarterback Colten Gayle.

But for Quarterback Colten Gayle, who runs the Cisco Loboes ground attack offense to near perfection, those high expectations are the standard. Last season's District Offensive MVP comes into 2012 as the preseason Offensive MVP- and for good reason. With 1178 yards in rushing and passing with 15 touchdowns, its no wonder why the Loboes were as successful as they were.

"Its tremendous having Colten Gayle out there, I mean, His talents blow me away sometimes with the things he does. With him as the Quarterback it feels like hes a big leader for our team, and he pushes us when our tough times come." Adds Teammate Mason Reed.

And theres been barely any downtime for #7 since December.. the offseason playing a big role for Gayle, helping him develop his skills and strength.

"We are throwing every other day, and I think we are better than what we were last year, throwing, running, and catching routes, so just doing that and the offseason is getting us bigger, stronger and faster." add Gayle.

The Cisco Loboes have one set goal in mind- to get back to the State Finals. With Colten Gayle back in the pocket, that goal could be a reality...which makes him a Player to Watch in 2012.
