For the past month, viewers have seen KTAB bring the news from the conference room turned temporary studio, playfully called "KTAB For Now."

While constructing the new set took that long, it was a project in the works for many months beforehand.

The new and improved KTAB studio had every light removed and replaced, designed and installed by a top company in the broadcast industry. Miles of new cables connect all of the updated equipment and we took great strides forward in the weather department.

The two most visible changes are the new severe weather desk -- where meteorologists can control Power Doppler Radar and forecast -- and our new weather name.

"Your Weather Authority" means we accept the responsibility to keep our viewers up-to-date like never before.

For more than three decades, KTAB has been the leader when it comes to delivering quality news to viewers in the Big Country --- and now, our on-air look matches the quality of our content.

Comments

The new studio looks great on television. I am wondering when KTAB will upgrade to High Definition so viewers can really enjoy a new look.
