Alabama Man Killed in Nolan Co. Crash

A man has died from injuries suffered in a Wednesday evening crash in Nolan County.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reports 56-year-old Frederick Barry Littlefield of Dothan, Alabama died Sunday night at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

According to the report, 49-year-old David Lee Jackson lost control of a 2005 International truck on US Highway 84 when he attempted to change lanes in a curve. The truck went into a side skid and overturned.

Jackson was taken to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt.
