KRBC is getting ready for the start of the games, which is July 27th.

Since we are so excited, we thought, why not have some of us from the KRBC news team try some of the olympics events for ourselves?

Over the next few weeks, every night you will see someone from our team try their hand at one of the events.

We start with our Marlisa Goldsmith.

She met with the women's track coach at McMurry University for a training session in track and field.

Be sure to tune in to Abilene Today or KRBC News Ten at Ten each day this week to see Marlisa try her hand at several other track and field events.
