KTAB AM Forecast: Wednesday, July 18th.

Dry skies will persist for the extended forecast.  Highs will top out in the upper 90s and stay there as long as the forecast stays dry.  Light winds and warm overnight low do not offer much relief.

Gusty March winds will hang around through the weekend, so get prepared for gusty winds from 20-25mph tomorrow through Sunday.  It will be mostly cloudy tonight but not as cold, with lows near 39 degrees.  Tomorrow will be warmer, with highs in the lower 70's, with plenty of sunshine.  Rain chances still look promising for Saturday into Saturday night.

It will be windy overnight with SE winds 10-15mph g20mph at times.  Lows will be near 46 degrees.  Winds will pick up tomorrow 20-30mph, gusting to 40mph.  We'll have a 20% chance for showers and thunderstorms during the day, increasing to 60% after 6pm.  Some of the evening storms could be severe.  Main threats will be large hail, dangerous lightning, and damaging winds.  Isolated tornadoes are also a possibility.  A cold front will move through the area overnight into early Sunday morning, and the threat for storms will continue until the front moves through the area.
