No injuries were reported after a driver rammed head-on into a parked car.

Around 7:40 p.m., a gray Cadillac CTS was traveling south in the 3600 block of First Street when it veered across the road and struck a parked Chevy Cruze which was parked facing north on the northbound side of the road.

The impact caused the Chevy to be pushed over a curb and into the front yard of a residence, slamming its rear-end into a tree. The Cadillac ended up in a yard on the opposite side of the road, back on the southbound side of First Street. Both vehicles received heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

The owner of the Chevy and her family parked in front of a relative's house just minutes before the accident and were inside visiting when they heard the impact. The driver of the Cadillac refused medical attention and was reported to be uninjured.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
