Abilene police arrested two men accused of stealing a lawnmower to exchange for drugs.

Around 10:00 Tuesday night, when police responded to a theft call in the 400 block of Cockerell Drive, an officer discovered two men pushing a stolen lawnmower northbound down the street.

The suspects, David Dailey and David Flores Jr., confessed to police they had conspired a plan to trade the stolen lawn mower for marijuana.

They were going to split the proceeds from the trade.

Both men were arrested for theft and taken to Taylor County Jail.
