Police say Eliseo Garza's blood alcohol level was more than 1.5 times the legal limit for drunken driving on the night last April when he went off the road and slammed into a tree on FM 600 near Seabee Park.
The accident took the lives of 13-year-old Briana Camacho and 16-year-old Elexus Flores. Another girl in the car was badly hurt, but has recovered along with two other male passengers.
Garza was indicted on two charges of intoxicated manslaughter and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Briana's father Rocky Flores says, "On behalf of both families we thank everyone for their prayers and we know this is just stage one. It's a hard downhill road from here and we are looking for justice for both Briana and Elexus."
